From my experience as an NTI student, the apprenti are required to be at the beck and call of nearly every on-campus issue 24/7, and often bear the brunt of student frustrations, of which there were many in this past spring semester. It is infuriating that such a poor wage is written off because it's an "educational" program. BS. An apprentice at the O'Neill is a full-time worker and should be paid as such.
